Did you know that you can rent snowmobiles? You can even get a guided tour by snowmobile of Allegany State Park and or parts of the Allegheny National Forest!

Charlie's Cycle Center in Limestone, New York offers snowmobiles for rent and easy access to the snowmobile trails in Allegany State Park. You can rent a snowmobile for a half to two days.

The same snowmobiles are also for rent at The Crosspatch Ranch in Little Valley, New York where you can choose to ride up the Pat McGee Trail, through Elkdale State Forest or other snowmobile trails and explore the Enchanted Mountains.

Snowmobile Rescue & Recovery in Allegany State Park

If by chance your snowmobile breaks down in Allegany State Park then Charlie's Cycle Center will bring a replacement snowmobile for you to complete your snowmobile trail ride.

If the rental snowmobile breaks down outside of Allegany State Park then you are responsible to get it to the closest road for pick-up. 

Reservation information

There are 5 snowmobiles (3 single seat2 two seaters) available for rent that can transport up to 7 people.

What do you get with a Snowmobile rental?

1. All snowmobile rentals have heated hand grips & thumb warmers
2. Trails: Area Snowmobile Trail map and oil included in rental price.

Half day at Charlie's Cycle Center walk-ins only!

• 1 seat Polaris Supersport 550 $99
• 2 passenger Polaris Trail Touring $129

Monday through Thursday (1 day rental) 9am-5pm

• Polaris 550 $179
• Polaris Touring $225

Friday, Saturday and Sunday (1 day rental) 9am-5pm

• Polaris 550 $220
• Polaris Touring $235

Monday through Thursday (2 day rental) 9am-5pm next day

• Polaris 550 $380
• Polaris Touring $435

+Guided Snowmobile Tour of Allegany State Park?

• Half day +$75
• Full day +$100

Rental Restrictions

• Must be 18 years old with a Valid Drivers License to drive the sled. Must be 8 years old to be a passenger accompanied by an adult at all times.
• Additional fee of $20 for Insurance Fee is required.
• Major Credit Card required.
• 8% sales tax is added to each rental.
• Sled must be returned with a Full Tank or a charge of $3.50/gallon will be added.
