"Crossing the Bridge One More Time" and the staff who worked to produce this exhibit have been honored at a ceremony held December 11th of this year.  The awards ceremony had attendees of folks from the community, tribal councilers and several distinguished guests.  Sue Grey, who is the public relations/external relations manager and Kari Kennedy-Hoag, who is the museum exhibit designer/cultural specialist were each awarded Achievement Awards.

The Exhibit remembers the former Quaker Bridge community and was opened last March.  The community was located where the Friends Boat Launch now is.  The old Seneca Trading Post store used to be the Quaker Bridge store.  This once thriving community was abadoned due to flooding, which later resulted in the Kinzua Dam.

Most of the photos in the exhibit come from a local resident with ties to this community.  Learn about her history and part in this award winning exhibit when visiting.  The display will remain until March 2014 in the museum which is located at 814 Broad St. in Salamanca.
