Cattaraugus County Fall Foliage Report for weekend of September 14-15, 2019

Fall Colors are seen at about 5% at this point. There is just starting to be a hint of color as things are turning from bright green to a having a tint of yellow.  Many of the dead branches on trees are showing a bright orange color!  Hopefully that's a sign of things to come. 

Our apple trees have ample amounts this year as well!  Need a place to go pick apples?  Cottage Orchard in South Dayton has u-pick apples!  Call 716-532-2960.  They are located at 9960 Nashville Rd. South Dayton, NY 14138.  They are also having an open house on September 28th with live bluegrass music!
