You will see mostly green but with a few pops of color. We estimate the change will be about 20% by the weekend of September 24th. The fall foliage report this week was taken at Cottage Orchard, located in South Dayton, NY. The trees were still mostly green with a little bit of yellow throughout. Luckily, the bright red apples added just the right amount of color for our trip. They will be hosting their Annual Open House on Saturday, September 25th. There are 567 apple trees for your apple picking pleasure along with barrels of apples for sale that have been picked for you. It is worth the drive to breathe in a deep breath of the fresh, apple air.
