The Allegany Region Commission agreed with the state Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation’s proposals to bring park hunting regulations more in line with state Department of Environmental Conservation rules.  This means that Sunday hunting will now be allowed in the Park, whereas previously, it was not. 

Our leaves are PAST PEAK and are about 75% changed.  High winds have knocked a great deal of the leaves off the trees within the last couple days.  Rain is expected for the end of the week and that will eliminate a great many more leaves.  Yellows and rusts are the predominate colors.  There are still many protected valleys that are very colorful, so the leaf-peeping season

Our leaves will be AT PEAK stage and will be approximately 65% changed by the upcoming weekend.  SHADES OF GREEN, YELLOW AND RUST are the predominate colors with some reds as well and are still  AVERAGE in brilliance.
