Cattaraugus County is predicted to have some beautiful autumn weather; crisp, cool and sunny, so get out there and enjoy! We have some ideas for what you could do this weekend: Have some fun at the Ellicottville Fall Festival and be sure to ride the chairlifts at Holiday Valley! Take a hike, bike ride or just relax and enjoy the view at Allegany State Park. Have some family fun at Pumpkinville! Try one of Di's fresh-baked goods, some fresh apple cider, or explore the bootique! The kids love the petting zoo, ducky derby and the corn cannon. Have fun making funny faces at the different cut-outs around Pumpkinville. You can also get a meal at Pumpkinville! You could have dinner at: Eddy's Restaurant - New Owners (see the article in the Special-E-Fects) “I want this (Eddy’s) to be the place that people can act like it is 1950 and take your girl out for an ice cream and hot dog, and where families can all come to eat,” said Mr. Lee. With a game room, fresh made pizza dough every day, a new batter for Friday’s fish fry that is only $8.99, and kids’ meals for $3.50, the new Eddy’s provides an affordable entertainment and dining experience for the whole family. Riley's Bar & Restaurant Coach Inn Myers Steakhouse Elkdale Country Club Red House Restaurant Then go out for a frightful night at Nightmare Hayride! At Nightmare Hayride, you'll be riding in a hay wagon pulled by a tractor that will lead you down a creepy haunted path with live scary creatures. From the ride you will exit off into a haunted maze then into the haunted barn! If you withstood the scares then the whole experience takes about 40 minutes. No reservations needed! About Becky S I love riding horse, gardening and walking my dog.
